Vet Alliance GuidED Virtual Retreat

Pre-Covid, our client, Vet Alliance had booked a venue in Muskoka to host their annual Manager’s Conference. But with COVID lockdows, we had to reimagine the experience and bring it to life virtually. YellowHouse built a customized (digital) venue that recreated the vibe of a northern retreat, complete with wooden beams, cozy furnishings, fireplaces and floor to ceiling windows overlooking the fall foliage typical of October in Ontario. The main lobby allowed for check in and tech support as well as a comfortable lounge for virtual networking. The main stage and break out rooms were all custom designed to continue the theme. Sponsors each had their own customizable mini chalet in our exhibition space to showcase products, host videos and speak one to one with guests via zoom. Our team curated advance event gifting in the “northern retreat” theme that included snuggly buffalo plaid toques, Roots “camp” socks, custom campfire mugs, a selection of local to Muskoka roasted coffees, S’more’s popcorns and a taster pack of Muskoka Brewery beers to be enjoyed during our beer tasting networking evening. We also created a brand for a new continuing education program that was carried throughout the venue in signage and accents. This 2 day virtual event was overwhelmingly well-received by all attendees and definitely changed their idea of what a “virtual event” could be!
