The Den. Where inspiration gathers.

The Concept:

Inspiration is what drives us at Yellow House, so we designed an event dedicated to exploring the art of inspiration. Each guest was asked to invite someone who inspires them — a mentor, friend, family member, colleague, or partner. We encouraged our guests to share with their guest how they have been inspired by them. And that created a warmth and energy in the room that set the stage for a magical evening.

The Experience Design:

The evening was curated to encourage organic mingling, while also offering meaningful moments of connection. Guests were invited into smaller groups for facilitated conversations on various topics, helping them move beyond the usual “cocktail small talk” and dive into what truly inspires and moves them.

To complement the dialogue, we created engaging activations — from intimate art talks and live drawings, to a champagne and gourmet salt pairing station. Guests were also given “spark cards” to give to someone who inspired them during the night, creating spontaneous moments of appreciation and connection.

Event Partners: 

We partnered with Thompson Landry Gallery for its stunning space and French Canadian artwork. Corbin Catering provided beautifully inspired cuisine, artfully displayed, and Spirit of York Distillery crafted unique specialty cocktails. Together, we created a magical experience that reimagined how a thoughtfully designed cocktail party can become a forum for content, connection, creativity, and deeper conversation.
