Our summer so far …

Halfway through the season, we’re taking a moment to look back on our favourite moments in the sun so far. It’s been a season filled with exciting events, with most of our favourite clients, from the Home Depot, Siemens Canada, Salesforce, Maple Leaf Sports and Entertainment and Google Canada.

Here’s a quick peek at some of our most colourful moments so far … 

Google Geek Street
This month, we partnered with Google Canada on the Geek Street Fair, bringing 2,000 kids to the historic Distillery District to check out the best of Canada’s creative technology industry.

Guests wandered a street full of booths, filled with interactive activities, and the coolest ideas and technology brought to life through creative installations.

Team Up Challenge with Maple Leaf Sports and Entertainment
An all day, tri-sport tournament, the MLSE Team Up Challenge is the premier event of its kind. Teams compete in soccer, basketball and hockey, raising money for Camp Trilium, benefitting kids battling cancer on the exclusive grounds of BMO Field & Exhibition Place.

An entire day filled with sports, music, entertainment and philanthropy, and alumni of Toronto’s favourite sports teams, the MLSE Team Up Challenge was a definite highlight for all involved.

Helping Hands Jamaica School Build
For the second year in a row, YellowHouse traveled with the Helping Hands Jamaica team to Montego Bay, with the mission of completing a brand new school including walls, roofing, windows and doors, installations, painting and more. The new school provides a safe and secure learning environment for more than sixty children, ultimately benefiting the entire community.

Coordinating a weeks worth of work and play for forty travellers left us exhausted but gratified as we celebrated the ribbon cutting of the new school. We give the whole experience an A+.
