I wanted to try something I haven’t done since I was in elementary school to see if it got any easier as an adult – and it wasn’t. Maybe because I chose a photo with a lot of details and colour, but my added knowledge of shadows and highlights really helped. There really aren’t any shortcuts to creating vector artwork, just having to follow through drawing every single shape.
