YHE’s Quick Picks: Top 5 Things to See and Do in Toronto this Summer

Summer hours and summer living is in full effect at Yellow House!  Join us at some of our current faves….

COC – Coffee Oysters Champagne

Do you ever feel like jetting off to Paris for the night? With the finest selection of oysters and champagne in all of Toronto you’ll feel as though you have been transported to the other side of the world as soon as your step through the door of this French inspired restaurant. The name says it all, COC specializes in three essentials: coffee, oysters, and champagne. Although their menu is small and concise, you are sure to be spoiled every time!

Stackt Market

This marketplace is like none other you have ever seen before. At the heart of Bathurst and Front Street, this new trendy market is made up entirely of repurposed shipping containers. With vendors varying from gourmet doughnuts to home decor, and from the lastest Ink Box tattoos to the Belgian Moon Brewery, there’s something for everyone to enjoy!

Hotel X’s Falcon SkyBar

Let’s talk about this view! There’s no better way to take in Toronto’s beautiful skyline than from this new spot. This new perspective on the city leaves you with jaw-dropping view of everything from the CN Tower, to Budweiser Stage, to the sailboats bobbing up and down in the harbour. The SkyBar pairs this gorgeous view with equally delicious appetizers and drinks. The Yellow House team recently enjoyed our spring social here and we highly recommend the flatbread and hand-cut fries with truffle aioli!

The Gaarden

Spend your weekend enjoying an afternoon in the tropics at Toronto newest patio and bar, The Gaarden! The overload of greenery and sunshine will transport your right to the beach, along with their beachy food and beverage menus.

Ed’s Real Scoop

Not sure how to spend your lazy Sunday? Why not grab a scoop (or two!) of amazing homemade ice cream from Ed’s Real Scoop and savour it by taking a walk along Balmy Beach’s boardwalk taking in the gorgeous waterfront. (You can even bring a furry friend on this adventure!)
